Let’s act together!

The objective of the Flower of Womanhood Association Against Cervical Cancer is to raise awareness of cervical cancer and the risk. We want women to understand that smear tests can save lives and that they should no longer put off seeing their gynaecologist.

The programme attracts people who care about the problem and organisations that are happy to give us their active support. If we can save at least one in five women who die every day in Poland of cervical cancer, that will make us happy.

It is important to help women through the disease. While this is always
a difficult time, there are ways to ease the pain or relieve the fear. Sometimes you just need to be there or give some information to help cope with the overbearing reality.

We have had a lot of interest in the Association. We have been approached by many women who want to help. They are lawyers, teachers, professionals and business women. They are women who have battled it out and want to share their experience.

If you need help, or want to know about the Association or if you want to help, let us know. Remember – cervical cancer is not a genetic disease. You can fight it. You can beat it.

The Flower of Womanhood under protection

The Association Against Cervical Cancer is an initiative started by women who fought the disease and won the battle.

Our successes and experience will help you and the women you are close to. Our mission is to help every woman fighting cervical cancer and those at risk of developing it.

Our focus is on prevention, education, access to information and a new approach to health. Our objective is to make sure that cervical cancer gets the maximum attention and publicity. It is high time we started acing together!

They are women who have battled the disease and want to share their experience, who are no strangers to pain and suffering but have the strength, warmth, support and the will to help those in need.

  

By defining the problem, you can reach the solution

Very few women know that in nearly 100% of the cases cervical cancer is caused by a virus called HPV, and not by a genetic condition, as many believe.

Cervical cancer is a disease you can avoid, you can fight it and what is most important, you can beat it. We want women to take better care of themselves, to understand that smear tests can save their lives.

Every day five Polish women die of cervical cancer. We will fight for every one of them! Join us!
